How am I Learning to Make Money Online?
I am participating in a mentoring/coaching program by Alex Jeffreys. In this post I want to discuss and get you caught up to where I am today.
Module 3 and Module 4 from the Marketing With Alex 3.0 coaching program.
So let me get you up-to-date.
Module 3
Module 3 was about Building a Profit Pulling Platform, aka. PPP.
This was an awesome lesson.
Alex started off by talking about we need to focus on becoming a marketer and not a seller. We now need to work on running a business and not just building a business.
What is a Profit Pulling Platform?
In an nut shell, a PPP is a series of web pages that will become your sales funnel. This is Phase 1 of building an Automated Infrastructure Process.
Phase 1 consists of
- A Squeeze Page
- A Stop/Thank You Page
- Double Opt-in Email
- Thank You Email
- Thank You Page
- Order Page
- Paid Thank You Page
That’s it. It looks pretty simple and it is simple but not necessarily easy.

There have been several people that have had questions about configuring the All in One SEO plugin for WordPress, so I thought I would post some information here to share to everyone.
All in one SEO Configuration
First you need to login to your WordPress Admin panel. From your WordPress admin, go to the Settings area, then select “All in one SEO”.
There are a lot of options here, but don’t feel intimidated, I’ll walk through each one.
- Plugin Status – Make sure that Enable is checked. After a new update is installed you will need to come back here and make sure that the plugin is enabled. In past releases, the developer had chosen to disable the plugin.
- Home Title – Enter the name of your blog. For example my blog is MarketingWithRick.com so I have mine listed as Marketing With Rick. If you leave this field blank, WordPress will default to the site name you defined during the WordPress configuration process. Page Title is important for SEO rankings so choose wisely. I could probably do a better job with mine.

The competition has been laid down and now it’s game on. The competition is going to be tough and I need your help.
See, I joined the Alex Jeffreys 3.0 Coaching program about a month ago. Starting today there is a competition among the 500 students.
What is the competition?
It is a Traffic Generation competition. The competition is for current Alex Jeffreys coaching students and the objective of the competition is to see who can drive the most traffic to their blog in the next four weeks.
When is the deadline?
The competition ends June 7th.
What are the rules?
1. You must show proof of your traffic stats using google analytics.
2. You must write blog posts on how you are driving traffic to your blog.
What is the prize for the winner?
First of all, it is winner take all. There will be one prize given and they are:
- A total revamp of blog
- A unique website with product
How is the traffic measured?

As an affiliate marketing newbie, it is so easy to feel overwhelmed by the varied amount of tasks you need to accomplish.
And it is so easy to spend countless hours in front of the computer being busy but actually getting nothing accomplished.
Below is a recommended schedule to help you structure your daily activities especially with regards to search engine optimization and driving traffic to your blog.
Directory submissions: Aim to submit to 5 new directories everyday. Don’t run out and submit to 50 directories in one day. This will raise flags with the search engines and you will get labeled a spammer.
Blog Commenting: Find 20 blogs that have DO Follow attribute in their comment links and bookmark them. Each day of the work week, you should post USEFUL comments including a link to your site. Comment to 4different blogs each day of the week. Also, don’t forget to vary your anchor text.
Blog commenting can be doubly advantageous for you because while reading the posts you are commenting on, you will also learn a more about your niche.
