Yes, I admit it, I have messed up on my blog.
I recently ran into a couple of problems that really messed up my blog.
I recently tried a couple of new plugins that I thought were pretty cool. However, after installing these I noticed they created some issues on my blog.
The first plugin that was a problem for me was the MyLiveSignature plugin. I created my signature at their website and installed the have my signature posted at the end of each blog post. The problem I found after installing the plugin was that I received and error message while creating a new post and then I realized that after I published the post, it actually double the post. I don’t know about you but this really bother me. It looked terrible, not professional at all, not to mention it was basically written twice.
So I deactivated the plugin and everything was back to normal. I have since went ahead and deleted the plugin. I am now trying to figure out how to add the html code directly to the theme so it shows up automatically without the plugin. It is possible that my WordPress theme had an issue with this plugin and that I will work okay with yours. You will just have to test it a see how it works.

The other day I had a reader that is not in the Alex Jeffreys coaching program email me and mentioned that I referred to Oil Rig Hopping in my post about How I Drive Traffic but he did not know what it meant. At that point I realized that I did not explain what oil rig hopping is, so I thought I better create a post to explain exactly what it means.
So, What is Oil Rig Hopping
Sorry but this has nothing to do with the recent oil rig explosion in the Gulf Coast.
Oil Rig Hopping is the process of getting free traffic to your blog and who doesn’t want free traffic, right?
My coach and mentor, Alex Jeffreys, uses this analogy when providing a way to drive traffic to your site.
Here are the basics of the analogy. An oil rig attracts algae, algae attracts clams, clams attract small fish, small fish attract big fish, big fish attract bigger fish, bigger fish attract sharks. Of course you cast your line(s) with you hook and bait to catch the fish. You ultimate goal is to catch the granddaddy of them all the shark.

How am I Learning to Make Money Online?
I am participating in a mentoring/coaching program by Alex Jeffreys. In this post I want to discuss and get you caught up to where I am today.
Module 3 and Module 4 from the Marketing With Alex 3.0 coaching program.
So let me get you up-to-date.
Module 3
Module 3 was about Building a Profit Pulling Platform, aka. PPP.
This was an awesome lesson.
Alex started off by talking about we need to focus on becoming a marketer and not a seller. We now need to work on running a business and not just building a business.
What is a Profit Pulling Platform?
In an nut shell, a PPP is a series of web pages that will become your sales funnel. This is Phase 1 of building an Automated Infrastructure Process.
Phase 1 consists of
- A Squeeze Page
- A Stop/Thank You Page
- Double Opt-in Email
- Thank You Email
- Thank You Page
- Order Page
- Paid Thank You Page
That’s it. It looks pretty simple and it is simple but not necessarily easy.

As an affiliate marketing newbie, it is so easy to feel overwhelmed by the varied amount of tasks you need to accomplish.
And it is so easy to spend countless hours in front of the computer being busy but actually getting nothing accomplished.
Below is a recommended schedule to help you structure your daily activities especially with regards to search engine optimization and driving traffic to your blog.
Directory submissions: Aim to submit to 5 new directories everyday. Don’t run out and submit to 50 directories in one day. This will raise flags with the search engines and you will get labeled a spammer.
Blog Commenting: Find 20 blogs that have DO Follow attribute in their comment links and bookmark them. Each day of the work week, you should post USEFUL comments including a link to your site. Comment to 4different blogs each day of the week. Also, don’t forget to vary your anchor text.
Blog commenting can be doubly advantageous for you because while reading the posts you are commenting on, you will also learn a more about your niche.
