Wow, what a week. I have been wanting to post this video earlier in the week but unfortunately I fell victim to the Timthumb vulnerability. It has taken me several days to get this vulnerability resolved. I now have a few more gray hairs thanks to this issue. I had to not only fix this site but I also had to fix all my affiliate sites as well and I currently have 12 affiliate sites.

Now on to today’s topic. Niche Marketing can be very fun and profitable or it can be very frustrating and a waste of time and money. Before jumping into a new niche market, make sure that you take the time and effort to make sure you are picking the right niche market for you.

I am still here and still climbing the ladder of success (I think I am only on rung six) and have just not blogged lately and for that I am truly sorry.

2012 is Going to be My Year…Is it Going to be Yours?

This year I am going to ramp up my Affiliate Marketing business.  The last three months of 2011 as a full-time Affiliate Marketer have been fun but not without some bumps (as to be expected).  I was able to build 4 websites that promoted Amazon products.  Each site is a review style site.  So far all 4 sites are niche based, where I review several products in a given niche.  I also plan to create sites that are product specific for one product.  I will utilize the style or model number as the domain name.  I was able to make a few hundred dollars but that is no where close to my goal.  However, looking at the positive side, this just shows me that I can make money online and I just need to ramp up my efforts.  I have learned much about keyword research and now I am focusing on backlinking.  Building quality backlinks is definitely tougher than I originally expected.

Is it too late to get started in Affiliate Marketing?

Gary asked: I am a newbie and I am thinking about getting involved in affiliate marketing – Do you think affiliate marketing is saturated?  It seems every guru is selling an affiliate marketing program to teach others how to do affiliate marketing.

At first I was a little taken back by the question, then I started talking to my wife about the question and came to the conclusion that if one person asked the question there are probably others that have the same question but my not ask it. So watch the video to see my answer.

I am so looking forward to sharing more and better information to you all. I feel that I have slipped in this area and I really want to improve the quality of information, especially to my email subscribers.

I am still going to focus on Affiliate Marketing, especially physical products. I was going to try and get in on the Halloween season but I feel it is too late to get in so instead I am going to turn my affiliate marketing focus to the Christmas season.
