Is it too late to get started in Affiliate Marketing?

I received an email from a subscriber (Gary).

Gary asked: I am a newbie and I am thinking about getting involved in affiliate marketing – Do you think affiliate marketing is saturated?  It seems every guru is selling an affiliate marketing program to teach others how to do affiliate marketing.

At first I was a little taken back by the question, then I started talking to my wife about the question and came to the conclusion that if one person asked the question there are probably others that have the same question but my not ask it. So watch the video to see my answer.

As an affiliate marketer, I promote products online from treadmills to fine china – and everything in between. Most often I promote physical products.

I am so looking forward to sharing more and better information to you all. I feel that I have slipped in this area and I really want to improve the quality of information, especially to my email subscribers.

I am still going to focus on Affiliate Marketing, especially physical products. I was going to try and get in on the Halloween season but I feel it is too late to get in so instead I am going to turn my affiliate marketing focus to the Christmas season.

I look forward to sharing more with you all on the future. I realize that I still owe you information based on your answers from my affiliate marketing survey. Don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten.

Hey gang!  I received an email from Jon and he basically asked how to I know what product to promote?

To be honest this is a great question to ask as a newbie and one that I asked myself when I first started out with affiliate marketing. So I thought what can I communicate to others about finding the perfect product to kick start their online career?

Before jumping in into this great question, you need to know that one thing I realized during  my own journey is when you start your online career you also have to look at it as an educational investment.

What I mean is that even if you get it wrong the first time don’t despair because you are learning many valuable lessons along the way that are taking you one step closer to making it!

I have learned over the years that it is the people that have this mindset and positive attitude that end up doing well. I have seen countless people launch an affiliate campaign with high expectations, only to see it fail and lose money. There’s nothing wrong with that as long as you take what you learned and do better on your next promotion.  The sad news is that I have seen people quit after failing just one or two times.  Do not give up on yourself and your dreams.
