Affiliate marketing

It is time to publish the results of my Affiliate Marketing Survey.  The survey was conducted a few weeks ago and I want to first say thanks to those of you that participated.

The survey will really help me to better serve you.  I got some great information and great feedback with this survey.  At the same time this will be helpful for me with staying focused on issues that you all or at least most of you will be interested in.

The Survey Questions

1. How would you describe your current activity in Affiliate Marketing?

I’m totally new to Affiliate Marketing aka. Newbie.

I’ve joined affiliate network(s) but have not made a sale yet.

I’ve made a few sales but nothing to brag about.

Part-time affiliate – I’m making good side money.

Full-time affiliate – I make a living from affiliate marketing.

The Results: 33% of surveyors were totally new to affiliate marketing, 50% were making a few sales, and 17% were making good side money.

2. Based on your current activity level, please rate your current level of expertise in the following affiliate marketing subjects.

JV Giveaway Events have been around for a number of years.  They can be a good way to build your subscriber list.  If you are just getting started building your list or if you already have a list and want to get more people on your list then you need to give JV Giveaway Events a try.

When first starting to build your subscriber list, a very good way to get started is by becoming a Contributor for JV Giveaway events.

I know for me when I was getting started building my online business and I first heard the words “JV Giveaway”, I thought what the hell does that mean.  Honestly, it sounded like something that I could not do since I was just getting started.  I researched the topic and luckily I found some great information that explained what a JV Giveaway was and how I could actually benefit even when just starting to build a subscriber list.

So have no Fear of JV Giveaway Events!

What Do You Need to Get Started?

Alright, to get started you need 4 things.  You need a product to giveaway, a website with a squeeze page to collect the name and email address, an autoresponder account to keep track of subscribers and a download page so the subscriber can download the ebook.

I would like to hear from all of you guys and gals out there and get some idea as to what topics you would like me to cover on a frequent basis. Please take about 90 seconds to answer the survey questions. Thank you for your consideration and attention!

Alright!  I’m back from vacation, refreshed and ready to get back to sharing with you all.

First, I have a few videos to show you about our vacation.  The first video is a short 30 second video that I created at Animoto.com.  The other videos were created by my son, Ethan.  He wanted me to tell you that “he hopes you enjoy the videos”. These are all short videos, with the longest video only 37 seconds.

There you have it, videos of our vacation.  We all had a wonderful time! I’m already for the next vacation.

Now onto the update for my niche site selling physical products. Since I have been on vacation I have only social bookmarked the two pages on the site. There have been a total of 22 visitors to one page and 34 to the other page. No sales yet.

I will be working this week by finding and posting to forums in the niche and also by blog commenting. If time permits this week I will also write a couple of articles and maybe find some sites where I can guest post.
