I’m sure you have heard it a thousands times…

The money is in the list!

Yes, having a list is important but building a relationship with that list is more important.

You must show your list that you care for them and that you are a living breathing person and not just an email address.

This only happens over time.  You must prove your worth each and every time you contact the people on your list.

One good way to start building your list is to give away something of value.  This shows you care for the people on your list and that you want to help them.

To really jump start your listing building you should participate in Giveaway events.

I need to tell you upfront that you will probably not build a huge list by only participating in only one giveaway event.  You should participate in as many as possible.

So, how do you create your giveaway if you do not have one.  We will get into that at a later date.

I need to create my giveaway.  I think I am going to create an e-book on either social marketing or setting up a WordPress blog.
