Today is my first day as a Full Time Online Marketer. Today is the day I have been looking forward to for some time.

Me and my family celebrated all weekend.

I am so looking forward to sharing more and better information to you all. I feel that I have slipped in this area and I really want to improve the quality of information, especially to my email subscribers.

I am still going to focus on Affiliate Marketing, especially physical products. I was going to try and get in on the Halloween season but I feel it is too late to get in so instead I am going to turn my affiliate marketing focus to the Christmas season.

I look forward to sharing more with you all on the future. I realize that I still owe you information based on your answers from my affiliate marketing survey. Don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten.

Straight Talk about getting to where you want to be.

I started online, part-time, back in 2009.  Do you think I built a blog and a couple of Squidoo lenses and magically started making tons of money?  No Way!

I created a little bit of content, made a little bit of money but it did not last long.  Looking at other blogs that had tons of comments I realized that I was missing something.  I realized that I needed to build relationships with others.  Unfortunately, I never did build those relationships.

Skip ahead to 2010.  I joined the Marketing With Alex 3.0 training program and learned much about Internet Marketing, building sales funnels and more.  There was a forum for students only.  Through that forum I built a few relationships with some marketers but I never really worked to grow those relationships.  I really regret not doing so.

Building relationships is something that I still need to work on.

Why am I telling you all this?

Think about it, when you first start out online nobody knows you.  You have no credibility and recognition and trust.  I know that I am a trustworthy person but nobody else knew this.

It is time to publish the results of my Affiliate Marketing Survey.  The survey was conducted a few weeks ago and I want to first say thanks to those of you that participated. 

The survey will really help me to better serve you.  I got some great information and great feedback with this survey.  At the same time this will be helpful for me with staying focused on issues that you all or at least most of you will be interested in.

I’m totally new to Affiliate Marketing aka. Newbie.

I’ve joined affiliate network(s) but have not made a sale yet.

I’ve made a few sales but nothing to brag about.

Part-time affiliate – I’m making good side money.

Full-time affiliate – I make a living from affiliate marketing.

The Results: 33% of surveyors were totally new to affiliate marketing, 50% were making a few sales, and 17% were making good side money.
