In today’s video I share with you what is pinging, how you can avoid excessive pinging, and a look at several free tools you can use to automatically save your WordPress blog from sending excessive pings.

Even though it is relatively new, I am sure that most of you will have heard of Google’s new social media platform Google+. If you haven’t then you need to get out from under that rock.
In today’s post we’re taking a quick look at 16 cool things you can be doing with Google Plus. First is a short video I created for you followed by a little more explanation about the 16 cool things. Enjoy!
1. Invite your friends
Google+ allows you to invite friends via email or via a link, you can send up to a maximum of 150 invites per user.
2. Use the G+1 button to share content from the web
The G+1 button is Google’s answer to the Facebook Like button and has proved to be a huge hit since its release. You can share your favorite content from the web using the G+1 button installed on many websites.
3. Make your profile visible in search
Make it easier for others to find you by ensuring your profile visible in search, which in turn can bring your more connections.

We did make it back from our trip safely. We actually got back on Sunday, January29. Sorry so late in posting.
We had a wonderful time in China and Thailand. Maybe more so in Thailand because we had such beautiful weather.
Well, we left out house at 4:00 a.m. EST on Thursday, January 19 and we landed in Beijing on Friday evening at 11:30 local time.

We got up early on Saturday to start our whirlwind tour of Beijing. On Saturday and Sunday we saw some great sites in and around Beijing. We visited The Temple of Heaven, Tienanmen Square, The Forbidden City, The Great Wall, and the Summer Palace. One of the coolest things I saw was actually not a place we visited but was all the fireworks that we saw and heard on Chinese New Year.
I have never seen so many fireworks and we could only see the fireworks from just a couple of blocks. I can only imagine all the fireworks that were going off all over China. I can not truly describe the scene of fireworks we saw. We were are the 12th floor and there were fireworks going off about 30 feet from us.
