For Sally, if they use it for spam you can use tweepi to filter those tweeples out..

Spamming is always a concern.  If I start seeing only promotions from a person I just unfollow them.

Using Twitter and Facebook can be time consuming but you can automate them both.  At the same time you have to be careful with how much automation you use.
