More WordPress Plugins I’m Using
I thought I would share with you some of the new plugins I am trying out and get your thoughts about each one.
New WordPress Plugins I’ve Activated
1. Post Teaser – Post Teaser generates a preview or “teaser” of a post for the main, archive and category pages, with a link underneath to go to the full post page. I have activated the features to generate a word count, image count, and an estimated reading time.
Do you think this is beneficial to you as you read my blog posts?
2. Sexy Bookmarks- This plugin offers the ability to pick and choose which social bookmarking sites to include in your social bookmarking menu. Simply put a tick under each of the icons representing the sites that you would like to show up in your menu. You can now display/hide the Sexy Bookmarks menu on a post-by-post or page-by-page basis.
So what do you think of the Sexy Bookmarks plugin?
3. Twitter Tools-This plugin allows you to integrate your WordPress blog and your Twitter account. It allows you to pull your tweets into your blog (as posts and digests) and create new tweets on blog posts and from within WordPress. You can create a daily or weekly digest post of your tweets. I am not currently using this feature.
This plugin is mostly beneficial for me to ensure I communicate with my Twitter followers when I create a new blog post. What do you think of this the Twitter Tools plugin?
4. WPBook – This plugin enables me to push recent blog posts from my blog to Facebook. Facebook users to enter comments and their comments will show up on my blog whether accessed directly or through Facebook. Also, regular blog comments will show up in Facebook as well. Again this plugin in allows me to stay in contact with my Facebook friends and let them know when I make a blog post.
What do you think of the WPBooks plugin?
These are the four newest plugins I have installed and activated. I am still testing them to make sure they are doing what they are supposed to.
What do you all think about these plugins? Do you use any of them? Do you hate or love any of them?

Post teaser is a great plugin to have. Instead of showing your posts from beginning to end, this plugin would allow you to show just a paragraph. This helps readers to click and skim through more of your posts.
