Blogging Tip – Title Can Be Everything
After spending the time to write your latest blog post you need to pause before hitting the “Publish” button and reconsider your title. Think about what your title conveys to your potential readers. Title can be the difference between having your post read or ignored. You don’t want to post ignored after spending all that time to create it.
Disclaimer: There is No Way to guarantee you post will get noticed.
That being said, here are something you should consider that will help.
Simplify the title. Studies have shown that blog readers prefer straightforward, short and simple titles. Stay away from cute and cryptic titles.
Grad the readers attention. A good title will draw readers to the post. Your post is probably like many others in your niche so you need to distinguish it from others by using an attention grabbing title. Think about what gets your attention. You need to draw your reader to the post and make them want to read more.
Communicate – You need to tell your readers what your post is about in a few words. Most people will not take the time to read something if they don’t know what it is about.
Key words. Try to incorporate words into your title that are likely to be searched by people in the search engines. Don’t just put keywords in your title just to have keywords and then not have the title make sense. First you need to appeal to your readers and secondly appeal to the search engines.
Don’t forget that your title is used to attract readers. The content of your post will keep them around and even coming back in the future. The title is just the invitation and the content is the party.

I’ve been looking around marketingwithrick.com and really am impressed by the exceptional content material here. I work the nightshift at my job and it is so boring. I’ve been coming right here for the past couple nights and reading. I simply needed to let you know that I have been enjoying what I’ve seen and I look forward to reading more.

@Sandy Halliday,
Thanks for your take on the post.
The keyword for this post title is “Blogging Tip”.
I think you have to also be careful with the catchy titles. If it does not convey what your post is about then once a reader starts to read the post they will quickly click away.
I do think it is a fine line to find out what works for each of us. I also think the title is the last thing you should write. I usually start with a title in mind so I know what to focus on and then I go back and usually change it.
Good Luck and thanks again the the notification about my blog problem.

Before diffusing your articles to article banks publish them on your own blog. Wait to have them indexed and then complete your bulk syndication.

It is proven again and again that information’s reliability isn’t the main factor which influences article marketing results. Instead, the degree at which you manage to broadcast content as speedily as possible. And I’m not referring to article syndication, but to the fluency of your writing.

I’m somewhere in the middle. I mean, I don’t exclude it but neither am I willing to let myself convinced without taking the time to further investigate.

The title to your post can determine quite a number of things. It first of all helps to grab readers attention and to also help them know what the post is all about. The title to a post has to be catchy. A boring title may end up attracting few or no readers at all. The title should also be relevant to the post you have written so as not to confuse readers.
